▌Principle
The heat resistance of general spandex is much higher than that of nylon. Therefore, after interweaving, the higher setting temperature will easily lead to yellowing and damage of nylon, which will seriously affect the tenacity and hand feeling of fabric. The HSCC Spandex—Easy Setting at Low Temperature reduces the setting demand temperature of spandex through process modification.

▌Advantages
1.The setting temperature of general spandex is 197℃, and the setting demand temperature of HSCC Spandex—Easy Setting at Low Temperature is 8-10℃ lower than that of general spandex (i.e. 187-189℃), which can reduce the oxidative discoloration and elastic loss of nylon at higher setting temperature, and is especially suitable for interweaving with fine denier nylon yarn.
2.The dyeing performance is better than that of general spandex. If proper acid-releasing agent is added in dyeing and finishing, the dyeing effect will be improved.
3.After interweaving with nylon, the rebound speed is fast, and the cloth surface is not easy to curl.
4.Uniform evenness.
▌Downstream Considerations
The setting temperature of nylon fabric: The recommended setting temperature is between 185℃ and 195℃, and the setting time is between 45s and 60s.

▌Typical Application
In order to combine the elasticity with wear resistance of fabrics in daily casual sportswear, nylon/spandex covering is adopted as a common yarn combination method, which has easy-setting spandex support and can better ensure the fabric quality in dyeing and finishing process.
