▌Principle
The fabrics containing nylon and spandex are generally dyed with acid dyes. For this kind of dye, the dye-uptake rate of spandex is low and it has obvious color difference compared with nylon. The HSCC Spandex—Acid Dyeable fabric can significantly improve this phenomenon.

The HSCC Spandex—Acid Dyeable significantly improves the dyeing performance in acid dyes. Different from general spandex, this type of spandex after it is interwoven with nylon can eliminate the “whiteness” of the cloth surface and prevent competitive dyeing.

1.The control method of pH value of acid dye dyeing bath is as follows: The pH value of initial dyeing is about 7.0, then the pH value is adjusted by adding acid-releasing agent (1g/L) or acetic acid (0.8g/L), and the pH value is about 4.0 after dyeing and finishing.
2.The recommended dyeing process conditions are as follows: The starting temperature is about 40℃, the temperature rise rate is 1.5℃/min. When the temperature is raised to 80℃, it is kept for 20 minutes, and then the temperature is raised to 95-98℃ at the rate of 1.5℃/min and kept for about 30 minutes.

▌Typical Application
Hosiery: The yarn that spandex is covered with nylon is often be used to weave pantyhose, so it has both wear resistance and elasticity. General spandex has poor dye-uptake performance in acid dyes. The Spandex—Acid Dyeable can prevent poor dye-uptake performance, make uniformly colored hosiery, and eliminate “whiteness” on the fabric surface.
