Product Introduction

Chemical Formula: C₆H₁₂. A colorless liquid, insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, benzene, and acetone. It is flammable. Due to its low toxicity, it is often used as a substitute for benzene in degreasing, removing lubricating grease, and paint stripping.

Product Use

It is used as a solvent for rubber, coatings and varnishes, a diluent for adhesives, and an extractant for oils and fats.
It is employed in the production of nylon monomers such as adipic acid, hexamethylenediamine and caprolactam, and also serves as a raw material for producting cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.
It functions as an analytical reagent, for instance, as solvents and chromatographic analysis standards.
It is further utilized in organic synthesis in the complexometric titration of copper, iron, silicon, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, etc.; as a solvent for photoresists; in the extraction of essential oils; and as a cleaning and degreasing agent.
Specifically, MOS-grade cyclohexane is mainly used in discrete devices and medium- and large-scale integrated circuits, while BV-Ⅲ grade is primarily applied in ultra-large-scale integrated circuits.
