The cyclohexanone project of SMC employs a cyclohexanol hydration process. Compared with the traditional oxidation methods, this route offers lower unit consumption, less pollution, higher efficiency, and better safety.
Hydranone®licenses
We produce high-quality cyclohexanone through phenol hydrogenation. This technology represents the current state of sustainable cyclohexanone production, combining highly efficient raw material utilization with low energy consumption, low (cooling) water usage, and low waste. When integrated with phenol production, it achieves significantly lower costs. This technology adopts a non-catalytic air oxidation process for cyclohexane, which features high yield and low energy consumption and produces cyclohexane products of good quality.
