On May 19^th( local time), “To Invest in Fujian” economic and trade exchange meeting and “Fresh Fujian” cultural and tourism promotion meeting were successfully held in Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof, a landmark hotel in Frankfurt, Germany. On the meeting, Mr. Chen Zhong, President of HSCC, and Dr. Oliver Neuß, Managing Director of AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, Germany, signed the agreement of HSCC AKRO Compounding engineering materials project, which is conducive to the domestic new materials field, especially the import substitution of high-end engineering plastics, facilitating the technological progress and transformation.

On the afternoon of the same day, representatives from HSCC and other leading enterprises in Fujian attended at the China (Fujian)-Germany Chemical Industry Green Low Carbon Transformation Cooperation and Exchange Conference, as well as those from BASF, Henkel, Linde and other well-known German enterprises. Cai Lingzhi, Director of Sustainable Development Strategy of HSCC , spoke on behalf of the Group, sharing practical experience throughout 41 years of development journey in industry chain and at the forefront of green transition. Mr. Cai stated that facing the global imperative of carbon neutrality, HSCC will deepen its commitment to the R&D of green technology while focusing on the innovation and breakthroughs of low-carbon products and processes, and accelerate its building of a Zero-carbon industrial park, to forge a demonstration model which spans from carbon management to building resilient industry chains; meanwhile, HSCC will deepen its industry-scale application of CCUS technology, and promote the dual transformation of carbon assets into economic value and social benefits.
