Recently, Highsun Group officially announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to further deepen its commitment in the field of sustainable development. The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), established on July 26, 2000, is affiliated with the United Nations Secretariat and is the world's largest international organization promoting sustainable development of enterprises. UNGC calls on global enterprises to abide by the internationally recognized ten principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and to incorporate these principles into their strategies and operations, so as to ensure that they conduct their business in a responsible manner. The organization also calls on all sectors to actively support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To date, the organization has over 20,000 corporates and other stakeholder participants from nearly 170 countries.
