In November 2023, China Automotive Industry Development Innovation Forum and Award Ceremony was held in Shanghai. Highsun Akro's carbon fiber reinforced PET material PRECITE® E ICF 30 was awarded the Development Innovation Technology Award of China's Automotive and Components Industry in 2023.

It is a low carbon footprint modified polymer developed by Highsun Akro for sustainable development in the automotive sector. It is extremely rigid with a modulus of up to 24,000 MPa and can be used in automotive seating systems. It has very high dynamic and static loading capacity as a component, good vibration resistance and high safety.

The modified polymer footprint report for recycled carbon fiber issued by Highsun Akro shows a carbon footprint of only 2.1.
