On July 8, 2022, the coal-to-hydrogen ammonia project of chemical industry of Highsun Group was successfully put into operation. It has broken through the whole process and successfully produced qualified hydrogen and liquid ammonia products, which has added the "bottom" to the stable supply of raw material gas for the chemical group of Highsun Group. From the construction of pile foundation to the commissioning of material, three years of journey, another modern gas plant of Highsun Group has been erected.

The coal-to-hydrogen ammonia project is located in Shenyuan New Material Integration Industrial Zone, covering an area of 228 mu, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. The project is upgraded on the basis of Hershey's gas, which is more green and economic, energy-saving and environment-friendly. After the coal-to-hydrogen ammonia project is put into operation, it can achieve an annual output of 600 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen and 300,000 tons of liquid ammonia, with an annual output value of 5 billion yuan. The successful commissioning of the project will further increase the industrial gas production capacity of the chemical sector and help Hershey Group make greater strides in its sustainable, stable and high-quality development.
