Waste recycling

Recycled nylon 6 yarn is the pre-consumer waste such as waste yarn, waste blocks and trimmings from the production process, which is processed through a unique transformation process to obtain high quality recycled nylon chips, and finally prepared into yarn of various specifications through melt spinning. In addition to reducing the carbon emissions of finished products and creating a protective value for the general environment, this method also makes maximum use of the waste generated during the production process, improving utilization and reducing waste.

Biodegradable

Highsun has conducted in-depth research on degradable nylon 6 yarn products. With the method of "biological anaerobic degradation" and the special anaerobic soil environment, the waste textile with degradable additives can be safely and quickly transformed into water, inorganic salts and other harmless substances without producing microplastics, and truly disappear without a trace. This nylon yarn is not only efficient in degradation, but also stable and durable. Because the accelerated degradation process only occurs in a special anaerobic soil environment, decomposition does not occur prematurely in everyday wear scenarios.

Bio-based

In the case of chemical fiber textiles, the value of plants can also be fully utilized to create new possibilities. Bio-based nylon 5,6 and bio-based nylon 5,10 are new environmentally friendly products of Highsun. They are mainly made from environmentally friendly renewable biological substrates such as straw, corn and castor, which are purified and polymerized through a special process. They greatly reduce the application of fossil-based and petroleum-based raw materials. Compared with conventional nylon products in addition to more environmentally friendly, the wearing experience is also more delicate and soft, light and wear-resistant, so that people feel the beauty of nature from the inside out.

In March this year, Highsun's bio-based nylon double-sided fabric won the "Excellence Award" in the 49th (Spring/Summer 2024) China International Fabric Design Competition, which proves that it has unlimited environmental foresight and commercial value.
