Founded in 1984, Highsun Holding Group (HSCC) has remained true to its original aspiration of “one endeavor across three generations” Starting with a single nylon rope production line, it has grown into a large modern multinational enterprise that integrates chemicals, chemical fibers, and new materials. It is now known as the world’s largest producer of caprolactam (CPL). Guided by the corporate spirit of “Always, All ways,” HSCC is committed to providing global clients with full polyamide industrial chain and high-end new materials solutions. After more than 40 years of development, HSCC has established four major industrial bases: Fuzhou (Fujian) as the center, and facilities in Nanjing (Jiangsu), Maastricht (the Netherlands), and Xinhui (Guangdong).

Our History

From “a single nylon rope”

From its founding in chemical fibers, we have advanced into chemicals, expanded globally, and ventured into new materials

Founding
1984-1999

1984: Longhe Knitting Factory was founded.

1984
Longhe Knitting Factory was founded.
Starting from Chemical Fibers
2002-2010

2003:Fuzhou Liyuan Polyamide Industry Co., Ltd. (LYP) was established, and we stepped into the polyamide fiber manufacturing field.
2005:Fujian Liheng Polyamide Industry Co., Ltd. (LHP) was founded, completing the “polymer chips—polyamide fiber spinning” industrial chain.
2008: LHP went public in Singapore, becoming the first enterprise in Changle City, Fujian Province that was listed in Singapore.
2010: Fujian Highsun Synthetic Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. (HSC) was established, creating a 100-hectare (1,500-mu) synthetic fiber production base that integrated polyamide fiber and spandex production.

2003
Fuzhou Liyuan Polyamide Industry Co., Ltd. (LYP) was established, and we stepped into the polyamide fiber manufacturing field.

2005
Fujian Liheng Polyamide Industry Co., Ltd. (LHP) was founded, completing the “polymer chips—polyamide fiber spinning” industrial chain.

2008
LHP went public in Singapore, becoming the first enterprise in Changle City, Fujian Province that was listed in Singapore.

2010
Fujian Highsun Synthetic Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. (HSC) was established, creating a 100-hectare (1,500-mu) synthetic fiber production base that integrated polyamide fiber and spandex production.
Advancing into Chemical Sector
2013-2023

2013: Fujian Shenyuan New Materials Co., Ltd. (SCC) was established, breaking international monopolies and entering the high-end caprolactam industry.
2017:The SCC integrated project with an annual production of 400,000 tons of caprolactam was successfully put into operation in one go.
2018:Fujian Shenma New Materials Co., Ltd. (SMC) was founded, achieving a dual-circuit supply for the key raw material cyclohexanone, thereby securing the core supply chain.
2021: A joint venture, Shenyuan Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd., was established with the Lianjiang County Government to develop a green textile industrial park.
2023: Shenyuan collaborated with Fujian Provincial Port Group Co., Ltd. to develop berth Nos. 15–17 at Kemen Port.
The Shenyuan 1 million-ton integrated Caprolactam Industrial Park was completed and put into operation, forming one of the most competitive integrated industrial parks in the province.

2013

2023
Shenyuan collaborated with Fujian Provincial Port Group Co., Ltd. to develop berth Nos. 15–17 at Kemen Port.

Expanding Globally
2018-2023

2018: Successfully acquired Fibrant’s global caprolactam business, becoming the world’s largest caprolactam producer.
2019: Acquired Air Liquide's largest single plant in Fuzhou—Air Liquide Fuzhou Co., Ltd., officially launching the “one center, four clusters” strategic layout.
2022: Completed the equity transfer of a 51% stake in the Changzhou plant from Germany’s AKRO-PLASTIC, and achieved a breakthrough from textile materials into high-end modified engineering plastics.
2023: Group headquarters building was officially put into use, while construction of the Global R&D Center commenced.

2018
Successfully acquired Fibrant’s global caprolactam business, becoming the world’s largest caprolactam producer.

2019
Acquired Air Liquide's largest single plant in Fuzhou—Air Liquide Fuzhou Co., Ltd., officially launching the “one center, four clusters” strategic layout.

2022
Completed the equity transfer of a 51% stake in the Changzhou plant from Germany’s AKRO-PLASTIC, and achieved a breakthrough from textile materials into high-end modified engineering plastics.

2023
Group headquarters building was officially put into use, while construction of the Global R&D Center commenced.
Venturing into New Materials
2020-2025

2020: Fujian Highsun Electronic Material Technology Co., Ltd. (HEMT) was established, initiating a dual-core business strategy.
2021: The lithium battery electrolyte project was officially signed, marking the company's official foray into the new energy sector.
2022: The first phase of the Highsun Electronics' Specialty Gases Project commenced production, signaling the company's entry into the semiconductor raw materials field.
The Group invested in Hangzhou Grascent Co., Ltd., entering the flavors and fragrances sector.
Shenxin Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded to develop wet electronic chemical materials.
2023: Yumen Dayang Tianqing Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was acquired, strengthening the supply chain for core ion implantation gas feedstocks.
2024: Highsun Holding Group gained controlling interest in Meida Polyamide Co., Ltd.
The pilot production line of the chemical recycling project was commissioned at the factory of Geelen Counterflow in the Netherlands.
Groundbreaking ceremony for the Highsun AKRO Engineering Materials (Fuzhou) Co., Ltd. (HSAKRO-FZ) was successfully held.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the H-tech High-Performance Polyamide Differentiated Fiber Intelligent Manufacturing Project was held.
2025: Investee company Haiyang Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Global Production Bases and Trade Network

HSCC has established four major industrial bases in Fuzhou (Fujian), Nanjing (Jiangsu), Maastricht (the Netherlands), and Xinhui (Guangdong), with Fuzhou as its central hub. The group now operates 31 manufacturing centers and serves more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
